Insurance with a Personalized Touch

At Farmers Union Services Association (FUSA) Insurance Agency, we take a different approach: our agents develop a personal relationship with their clients. Our agents are involved with and a part of their communities, and that builds an unparalleled level of trust and success. Started in 1951 by Farmer’s Union (a non-profit organization dedicating to giving farmers a national and state voice), our agents work in the communities they live in, and understand what their client’s coverage needs are.

Since then, we’ve expanded to focus on every type of coverage imaginable...from the large oil and gas accounts to the small farmer’s market. We can do this because everyone shares their experiences of working on various accounts and has access to several markets. (And because we can combine our annual production with most of our major carriers, that means no minimum carrier production requirements for our agents.) We also believe that our agents are doing the hard work, and we offer one of the most generous commission splits in the industry--along with profit sharing opportunities.

The most important thing for FUSA is your success. We offer a varying level of financial support, depending on if you’re starting as agency from scratch or taking over an existing book of business. And once you get up and running, that support will continue with your account manager and dedicated managers for personal, commercial, sales and marketing. Ultimately, your success is entirely up to you; and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

We’re an unique and highly successful agency, and it’s all due to our agents. We like to take a hands off approach, but will be there to support and guide you along the way when you need us. That also means it’s up to you to maintain the drive and ambition to make your agency a success!
